 Stephanie Gordziel, OTR/L Occupational Therapy Supervisor Stephanie graduated Cum Laude in 2001 from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. While growing up in New Jersey, Stephanie was a competitive gymnast (through Level V) and captain of her Montgomery High School gymnastics team. Stephanie completed her Level II fieldwork requirements for occupational therapy in a variety of clinical settings including a rehabilitation center, a pediatric hospital, and the Children’s Center for Therapy and Learning in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, where she gained valuable experience working with children with developmental disabilities and completed a neuro-dynamic therapy course for pediatrics. After moving to California in 2001, Stephanie worked in two other children’s therapy centers, while enhancing her knowledge through continuing education coursework on applied sensory integration principles. Stephanie became part of BIG FUN’s Therapy Services division in October 2005, bringing her wealth of educational and practical gymnastics and therapy experience with her. She has become an integral part of the OT staff, providing her children with the gymnastics instruction and therapy necessary for them to succeed in and out of the gym. Close Window |
