 Sargis Akopyan District Manager Sargis graduated in 2002 from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. Prior to joining the BIG FUN staff, Sargis had extensive experience working with children, from tutoring mathematics to coaching young hockey players to acting as a personal aide to blind individuals at the Pasadena Braille Club. After becoming a part of BIG FUN in April 2003, Sargis has continually taken on additional responsibilities as he demonstrates his passion for working with special needs children and being a leader. After managing BIG FUN’s Pasadena facility Champions Gymnastics for over a year, Sargis was named to the position of District Manager in January 2006. Sargis believes that his work at BIG FUN with a variety of special needs children is “both challenging and rewarding.” Close Window |
